HOW DO I PREP FOR MY LASH APPOINTMENT?

• Make sure to come to your appointment with clean lashes/eyes & no residue of eye makeup. Lash extensions bond best & last longer when applied to clean lashes! -- If additional cleaning is required at your appointment, an additional charge of $5 will be added.
• Avoid applying any facial oils or heavy creams around the eyes. Any oils near the eyes may breakdown the bond of the glue resulting in premature lash loss.
• Please be prepared to have very limited conversation or movement - any facial movement or movement in general make it harder to apply the lash extensions & may also be hazardous as I will be holding tweezers very close to your eye area & face.
• Make sure you use the restroom prior to the appointment! Opening your eyes during the appointment may cause irritation from the fumes of the glue & cause your eyes to water.
• If you have the tendency to get jittery or have fluttery eyes from drinking caffeine, please hold off until after the appointment as this can make it difficult for the application as well, naps are complimentary & highly encouraged during lash services so do not worry about being sleepy!

WILL LASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

The health of your natural lashes depends on both your lash artist/technician AND you. — Your lash artist should be a Licensed Esthetician or Cosmotologist (this will vary in each state, but is required to legally do lashes in CA), as well as properly trained/certified in lash application & health. If your lash artist is applying the extensions properly, using a weight & length that is healthy for your own lashes, and not using an excessive amount of glue then your lashes should not be damaged. After-Care is also detrimental to the health of your natural lashes & should always be discussed with you at the end of your initial application. Without proper cleaning; dirt, oil, and debris can build up along your lash line and between your lashes. Not only will this cause your extensions to fall out faster, it can also cause pre-mature lash shedding and infection which can lead to permanent damage to your lashes. With that being said, please respect & trust your lash artist if they refuse to apply extensions that are too long for you, it is for your own good!

WHY DO MY LASHES LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THEIRS?

Keep in mind that every set of lashes will look different even if the same style, length & curl is used. Everyone has a different eye orientation/shape & natural lashes so the lash sets will be different & will sit differently on everyone as well! For example: if someone naturally has a lot of lashes a full set will look even fuller on them as opposed to someone who has fewer or finer natural lashes.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE LASH EXTENSIONS?

For if any reason you need/want to have your lash extensions removed, please contact me & schedule to have them removed.  The glue used is very strong & attempting to remove them on your own will cause damage to your natural lash &/or pull them out.

WILL WASHING MY LASHES MAKE MY EXTENSIONS FALL OUT FASTER?

It is normal to experience lash/extension shed while cleansing/washing your lashes. Using a lash specific cleanser can actually extend the life of your lashes & nourish them to help keep them strong, healthy & prevent infection.

IS IT OKAY TO WEAR MAKEUP AFTER MY FACIAL?

If you must wear makeup right after your facial you can but if possible, I recommend waiting at least an hour to allow any extraction sites to close up & the product to penetrate the skin.  For the best results, I would advise you to book your appointment on a day/time when you don't have to wear any makeup. Also, if you are booking a facial for a special event, I would try to book up to three days before your event so that if any purging occurs, your skin has time to bounce back.
